Who the Fuhk are you to come in here calling out our long time friends, long time posters and fellow tiger fans who are expressing their justified frustration over a complete screw up of a situation? I have NEVER, EVER called out Les Miles on anything but what happened yesterday is a calamity and the debacle was witnessed all over the country. Short of the "Fire Miles" topics and posts, anything else is justifiable right now. You need to take a hike.
Man, are you that blind? Just because one thinks the coach is a bonehead doesn't make them anti-LSU, quite the opposite. Bottomline is it's hard defending someone who continually acts like a clown shoe. The school is bigger than the coach.
you know, actually watching that miles is saying to spike it immediately after tolliver got up - when 3 seconds were probably still on the clock - before whoever was keeping time let 2 seconds run off. And Miles has never, ever thrown his players under the bus and he didn't do it here either. Yes he lied about not calling for the spike but he didn't throw jefferson under the bus either
its a slippery slope. he wasnt honest but im naive enough to know miles had no idea what he was doing or saying. he had no contingency plan and was so freaked out its like when you do something all amped up and have no recollection of what happened afterwards. ive always said miles was bat**** crazy and this is obvious in his postgame interview. also if you watch the michael cauble/channel 2 version, they show miles after the spike and hes clearly saying we had a timeout. we had a timeout. he walks to mccarthy who shakes his head no. no timeout dude. jesus christ, les. you have to pay attention man. turn off the last.fm on the headset and watch the game.
Wow, that video is damning. A coach can screw up clock management at the end of a game. They'll be judged on it. Depending on how good their overall body of work is, such a screwup may quickly blow over, or not. But to have a terrible press conference like that where a coach is so inarticulate and worst of all appears to lie may not be survivable. I hope Les has an explanation of his pumping motion on the sideline and how that jibes with is post-game comments. This may turn out to be a very sad day for LSU football, well beyond simply running out of time.
oh its survivable like a broken marriage. gonna have to learn to live with each other regardless what happens. lsu aint payin off this contract. we dont have that kind of money no matter what people tell you. we're just going to have to sleep in separate beds the next 2 or 3 years.
Best Post-Game post so far. Right to the truth of the matter. I have been a Miles supporter and after going through the same emotions most tiger fans have been through the past 16 hours I have to come the the realization that CLM will be our coach for a few years to come.
in the video at the 1:37 mark Miles says "I don't KNOW who made that call" That is throwing someone under the bus!!!!!!
