Last week it was about "Miles' problem". This week he is a 'Zombie' At least the thread titles are getting more entertaining as we try to find fault with our coach.
yeah and i almost get it for a coord or pos coach but for the head coach to be managing a game while headbutting people may be too much to ask. i know you're just stating fact about LSU fans and probably not saying that miles should be roaming the sidelines like a lunatic. you're right about muschamp though. some fans want to always see coaches using their hearts and not their heads. (that's not a knock on muschamp btw)
i agree with you, i don't think our head coach should be acting like Tampa Bay's head coach, if anyone saw that. I did like the fact that when muschamp was here he was like a tasmanian devil on the sideline. But i totally agree with you on the other points, he hasn't really been that effective in the Big 12.
What's with all the Miles bashing threads lately? Serious question - if we'd have won both games 45-0, would you be asking this question? Just curious..
there would have been some people not satisfied with some facet of the game. I have been critical of Miles in the past, and i was after the UW game, but i have no complaints after the Vandy game. We didn't make a statement, but the season is young, and if we take care of business, we will be there. Just wait and see what happens if we don't blow out ULL. There are going to be some people flying off the handle.
Why must people go to extremes and nobody atleast not me is "bashing" Miles. I would just like to see a bit more emotion because I think it would help bring our team together a bit more faster.
I am fine with him concentrating on every play to see what we are doing right and what we need to work on. His ability to inspire through attention to detail and desire for excellence has worked well for him.
miles plays close to the vest until it counts. sure all these warm-up games count but you can only get sky-high emotionally a handful of times each year. those are reserved for UF, UGA, UGump, etc. whether you believe that or not is not relevant. its how it is. some fans also dont understand how a team cannot be fired up to play Teamx in whatever bowl game regardless who it is. its just not reality. LSU nor its coaching staff will not be excited to play USL this week no matter what the coaches tell the media. nor should they be. its a rent-a-win and they know it. Crowton should use this time to be reviewing tapes of UGA this week-- for the 100th time already.
