Yeah, FSU and Florida have been going to all of the really good innercity schools and recruited all of the small time thugs. We're stuck with everybody else!:hihi:

How are things going with Miami's new coach? Heard he was a very good "People person" and, initially, the kids were responding well.

D and I would end up is a civil discussion...now, replace Deceks with Proud and we'll have something.

<--- Would pay good money to see!!!

I'm curious. Where are they on Saturdays? Caught driving through the streets with a Spanish to English translation guide?

Like tiga, I'm curious as to how the new coach is being received. I'm sure you guys are going to love seeing Coker on ESPN this upcoming season. I wonder if he'll follow in the steps of Curry...the local Miami expert.

Only time will tell. He seams like a good guy and the team has jumped on his bandwagon. Will just have to see if that is reflected on the football field. As long as he can beat up on FSU this year, I'll be happy!:)

    Story you may find interesting...

When Shockley was in JC, his JC coach had asked those on the recruiting trail to leave him alone until he had concluded his season. Every coach after his sig. accepted the request and abided by it, save one. Coker.

It really ticked off a lot of fans and coaches in OK, TX, etc. However, in retrospect after seeing some of his antics in the NFL, they don't carry as much ill-will towards Coker today. I don't recall Shockley being that much of a trouble maker in college...

Now, I do recall one kid and his mouth...but that's better left for another thread...or better left forgotten. Ole' Kelvin..

He's pulling in some highly regarded players like linebacker Jordan Futch, offensive lineman Brandon Washington and defensive tackle Jeremy Lewis- all four star kids.

Watch out for PJ though, Vball is out to bring him to Cali.
