Give us a break. O'Reilly is WAY right, as are most FOX commentators. Surprisingly, the only FOX commentator that is fair and balanced is Fox News President Roger Aisles, but only when he's speaking on other networks as a political consultant. Fox News was established specifically to give a right slant to the news and that's what they do.

Proof? If opinion, it should be labeled as such.

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better myself. If Mastermind thinks Fox is biased then lets see some evidence of such. If it's his opinion then that's fine but you and I know he's wrong.

"Fox is totally middle of the road..." A sign one has become fully indoctrinated.

    Rosie O'Donnell is a flake?

Gays would be better off if they quit flaunting?

A certain segment of the AA (and the Caucasion) population needs to take care of their kids?

Jesse Jackson is a publicity and money whore?

Environmentalists have strangled the California economy?

If speaking the truth in other than hushed tones or behind closed doors makes you a conservative, then I guess he is.

I'll give O'Reilly one thing, he's got a brain behind that massive conservative ego. Not like George Will or anything, but he's far brighter than the average FOX commentator. And he's more pragmatic than most knee-jerk conservatives which is probably why he is a registered independent.

But he tosses softballs to conservative guests and hammers the liberal ones so it's clear where his politics lie. He still backs Bush, despite his comment:

"If the Americans go in and overthrow Saddam Hussein, and it's clean, he has nothing, I will apologize to the nation, and will not trust the Bush Administration again."

"If [Hussein] has 8,500 liters of anthrax that he's not going to give up, even though the United Nations demanded that he do that, we are doing the right thing. If he doesn't have any weapons, then we are doing the wrong thing." -- Bill O'Reilly

The nation still awaits that apology.

How soon we forget this little scandal:
    Fox is definitely fair & balanced...if you're a neo-con.

I watch O'Reilly nightly and he has admitted his misplaced support on many occasions.

You may despise Fox because of the difference with your ideology, but this claim by McClellan has been thoroughly destroyed. He has not one shred of proof and admitted he was incorrect on O'Reilly's show.

Probably why that "little scandal" faded even more quickly then McClellan or his book did.
