Didn't he even have a pick 6 in the spring game?

In '08, he had several beautiful passes, but we all know how that panned out. Sure, a lot of time has passed and I guess he has earned another shot, but to think he is "ready to go" after one pass is a little humorous.

    I can't defend JJ anymore

I would give JL a chance I would not expect to see the same JL

I have seen the same JJ and his fog just doesn't seem to clear. When JJ has a clear and open primary target he is not that bad but how often does that happen? JJ shuts down under pressure and does not throw a catchable ball.

I would love to see Lee and I am not a 2nd string QB kind of guy. I am done with JJ because what he brings will not take us to Atlanta in Dec and that is what I want.

I am ready for LSU to do anything to try and improve our passing game. If it means giving JL a shot then so be it.

What would be humorous is sticking with JJ game after game and getting the same thing. If we score 30 points and give up 1 pick 6 I can deal with it. Truth is I would like to see Lee for just one complete series in some part of the 1st half.

Not asking for much. He moves us to a score I would stick with him.

    exactly.

i was for possibly making a change earlier in this game when it became apparent that jj didn't have it tonight.

but i don't remember jefferson ever looking this bad before, so i'm not ready to say it's permanent and time to geaux to lee.

It's obvious that JJ hasn't improved at all in 3 years, so how can we expect Lee to have improved?? They have the same coaches coaching them.

Did you see how pissed R Shepard was when JJ hit him in the ankles? I thought he showed improvement last week but he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight. JL looked Randle down the whole way on his pass. I fear he has the same tunnel vision he has showed his whole career.
I don't know what to suggest to do about QB.

Listening to the post game interview, Lee may be getting a few more snaps.

    He looks noticeable thinner.

To me the problem starts at the top(crowton) but I have been saying Jefferson is good enough to get you 8-10 wins if the rest of your team is high quality recruits. He is not good enough to get you either a SEC or National Championship. IMHO Doesn't matter how good your D is, if your O can't get 1st downs you will lose your share of games.
