    Im guessing so if he's out recruiting but doesnt Chavis deserve a little fan fare for his hire? Feed him, feed the recruits and feed the fans. I hope he's at the announcement today. Chavis himself hasnt even acknowledged the fact he is taking the job.

    Oh ok, I think it is safe to assume Chavis is officially signed.

    There are only a limited # of days recruits can be contacted in January. If he's employed by LSU I guess they just want to get the most of them. I'm sure he will get his fanfare.

    I think today is the first day the coaches can go out again. Seems like there was plenty of time over the weekend to formally announce him. Oh well, no use in pickin a nit.
