Re: Jarvis Jones So the last I heard about LBers, Telfort and Jenkins were strong leans to UF. Jones was a lean to UF, but would possibly wa;k away if Telfort and Jenkins committed and LSU was a good possibility for his services. Jenkins was supposed to be leaning back to Penn State however to stay closer to home, thus greatly decreasing the possibility of Jones to anywhere but UF. Where is Telfort standing right now? I see that all three are still undecided...
Re: Jarvis Jones Not LSU. Stanford made a great impression. I'll stick to what I said earlier, Jones was never seriously considering LSU, despite what reports said after his visit here. All I ever read about the guy, is how big of a fan he was of Florida...since the beginning of the process. If he chose LSU, I'd say it would be the biggest surprise commit in years...
Re: Jarvis Jones On Telfort: He won't be a Gator unless we miss on one of Jones or Jenkins, but if we do, he'll be here in a heart beat. If not, then he's a Trojan. I'm sure they're making a big push for him... I read today that Burfict is set to decommit from USC and switch to Arizona State. The blog I read it on didn't look very legit though, so it might be totally untrue.
If UF signs both or all 3 of those guys, look for Jon Bostic to open it back up. My wifes cousins played high school football with him and informed me that he nearly picked LSU because he could play right away. His mom steered him towards UF.
Yeah, at some point it gets to being ridiculous and someone has to bolt. I hope we get one of them. Any one of them, actually.
If Florida gets Jenkins, Bostic, and Jones? Bostic and Jenkins both can play either outside linebacker position, and Jarvis will probably move to defensive end because we're loaded at linebacker. These guys have nothing to worry about... If you think they'll add Telfort with the other three, that's probably wrong because the coaching staff knows that if they get all 4, THEN someone will definitely worry about playing time.
http://lsu.rivals.com/commitlist.asp?Year=2009&School=21 Rivals says that Bostic has already signed his letter of intent to play at Florida and thusly cannot open it back up, right?
Can't sign until 1st Wednesday in February. Unless your'e a JC, there is an early signing period, much like the one Helton took advantage of.
Right, but if you graduate high school early you can sign and enroll early (our own Russell Shepard for example). Or is Russell just enrolled at LSU right now and can't actually sign his LOI yet? I wasn't certain if Bostic did the same at Florida. Why does Florida's Rivals site have so many players listed as signing their LOI anyway?
