That's a "I want to go see California" visit, not a "I want to go see USC" visit. Everyone I've read about tracking Charles knows USC is just about out of it unless Carroll and Co. blow him out of the water and onto the moon during his visit.

USC only planned to take one TE this class and Carroll verballed early. He's a bruin. Charles is still interested. He had an in-home with PC and company a week ago today. USC has had demonstrated success with TE's the last few years. Dom Byrd, Fred Davis, Blake Ayles.
I don't doubt USC's ability by any means, I'm just saying the guy you get probably won't be Charles. I don't doubt Pete Carroll's ability to make miracles in recruiting, however.
OBG, what is up with Jarvis only allowing the UGA coaches to come into his home this week? Is that expected to fall through or a rumor?
Sports talk radio in Memphis makes it sound like UGA is pretty excited about the possibiliy of JJ being a Bulldog. They were also talking about DB who is or was Florida commit now looking at UT. I did not catch the DB's name. Don't really know if any of it is anything more than some know it all talking heads filling up some air time.
