I thought I heard we were actually losing seats and adding more luxury suites - or am I thinking of basketball?

From the very first they never said we would lose any seats, but they also said they weren't gaining many if any at all. I guess they didn't know exactly how everything was going to fit until it was about finished. Anyway, the plan was never to change the amount of seats by many, just the amount of dollars they were taking in.

This project is an absolute screw up... They won't even be close to finished for this football season I've been told.

Under normal circumstances, I would agree with you. The the project really became a low priority after Katrina because a lot of the skilled laborers on the project could be better used elsehwere in damaged areas.

I really don't know what they have been doing all offseason. I hear all these ideas but nothing really gets done. It really is inexcusable to not be finished by the start of the season.

That is a part of it, but this project was supposed to be completed September 2005. Yates is making million dollar mistakes every week and the hurricane has been a nice excuse for them & LSU Sports.

    Really.

Are they using these SKILLED laborers to clean up New Olrleans. Instead of finishing Tiger Stadium. What is such a priority that a job nearing completion is abandoned or people pulled off to start another one in a city with a pop of less than half what it used to be and no one busting down the door to go back. Last I heard nothing was happening becasue everyone or at least a lot of folks were waiting on money from the government. So I am suppose to believe that plans were drawn up for demolition and new construction by engineering before they could finish Death Valley.

I was suppose to have a birthday but with Katrina I decided to put it off a year. You guessed it I am a skeptical SOB
