I completely agree with you. This is the best attitude to have, and by tomorrow, we'll all be able to embrace it without having to force it or fake it. Right after a let-down, it can feel a bit empty to recite platitudes about looking at the positive, but the truth is that we've had a great recruit class. Anytime you set your standards sky-high, there could be a let down. I'll try to count my blessings and focus on the positive, but it will probably take a few hours to get over the disappointment.

    Yes. I do.

The kid wants to be the #1 pick and have a chance to win Heisman(s).

USC offers him the best possible shot at doing that.

I don't think players playing for teams under probation can win Heismans..

I'm very skeptical of that happening, considering the fact that only Yahoo! Sports has been covering the issue and nobody else is really giving it any legs. Not to mention that I can't help but think its a personal vendetta by that particular writer against Reggie Bush for making him look like an idiot and playing for the Saints. Probably not the case, but its awfully coincidental.

Even if something comes out, I really don't see USC getting anything more than a slap on the wrist.

The problem is the tapes themselves. The tapes exist but nobody can hear them....if they become public...which there is a good chance of happening...there's no way the NCAA can ignore this....thats what people are banking on...the subpoena

Yeah I dont either, just look at Ohio State, Clarett, Mangold, and Smith were all involved in some shady things and they got off scott free.

Thank you, don't get me wrong, I am disapointed, but we have some great players coming in.

I'm sure you'll be the first one to let me know if that happens.

I seriously doubt it will though.
