yeah, but... But, for me at least, gratons have more meat and a smaller layer of fat. the good stuff. cracklins are predominately fried fat, crackly, 'lighter', 'airy' . You can buy cracklins in a 'potato chip' bag at a convience store, shipped from a factory. Not possible with gratons. I wish my definitions would prevail. the world would be a better place.
