Who is this NFL QB we lost? Peyton Manning? Eli? Kordell Stewart? Bradshaw wanted to come to LSU, but his SAT was too low. Josh Booty? We got him. Brock Berlin? He was a bust in college, much like J Lee. Who is this NFL QB from Louisiana we lost that we could have had instead of Lee or JJ? Perriloux? Maybe. JJ did lead his 5A Louisiana high school to being State Champions. I don't think he ever lost a game in high school, much like McElroy at Bama and Harris at Florida. Not too shabby having a kid like that. As for Lee coming out of high school (Texas), he was an Elite 11 QB throwing for like 3K to 4K yards for both his junior and seniors years. But, like 1st Round Draft picks, not every great recruit pans out.

I can think of two plays where he ran it well against Alabama but can think of many more that looked horrible. I think we're fortunate we haven't turned the ball over running it because I don't think he can do it very well cocnsistently.

I wish we would refine it in practice or leave it out of the playbook.

JJ is an option QB and Lee is a pro-style QB.

Yeah, but the defenses are playing 8 and 9 in the box against Jefferson... La Tech was playing 5-7 in th box... you take what the defense gives you.

hmm, I really don't remember any horrible options against Alabama, but I may have missed one. I know in every game before that I cringed when the option was run...and you're right, it didn't look refined at all.

Again, if you think you can predict the plays we call, bet a friend $100 you can. Have him witness it, you will fail, lose your money, and you will understand why we pay Crowton and why we don't pay you.

I think what everyone is saying that our offense has been way to predictable this year!

It looks like we will get the win tonight but we all have plenty to worry about next week getting ready for a trip to Oxford! We HAVE GOT to play better next week or it will be UGLY!
