Surely LSU can't have dominated a decade of football the same way Bama did in the 70's. They were not "special", you see. It was Nick success, not LSU's. How sad have some Bama fans become that they cannot acknowledge any success but their own.

Yeah, Bama claims it but most of the polls went to another team in 1973. Also in some other years that you know well. But they all feel special to you don't they? Same with us. Our Championships aren't supposed to make our rivals feel "special."

In 2007 LSU won the national championship on the football field by beating the number one team in the country. Period.

No, it didn't feel special, as far as that being a special team, which was my point, once upon a time.

However I'm happy enough with our team. I hate we don't have a true playoff, but I've given up hope on that.

What success others have in the sec is really fine with me. Fans Being happy about it, is a given.

So what do you think of my new mantra:

If its special to YOU, its special to ME.
