1. I understand that you are dissapointed and are down right now. I am too. But i am not leaving. The LSU bashers that call themselves fans will not take over this board if i have anything to say about it.

People like Ramah dont deserve to be called LSU fans. Because a fan is somebody that is with their team win or lose. That is with them in the highs and sad with them in the losses.

Their are people in this world that you will never ever please. I dont agree with everything Coach Miles does but i support him and i support our Tigers. When the pain eases in the next day or so we will be ready for the Bowl game and pulling for our Tigers.

You must not let negative people get you down. Fight them, argue with them, and give them their negative energy and turn it positive every time they say something. The best way to irritate them is every time they something negative you point out the positive.

I will continue to pull for LSU as hard as i can and i understand their will be slip ups along the way and our players are human. They will make mistakes just like our coaches do . You know i myself have made mistakes before if you can believe that.

Life goes on. I will post positive posts and try to lift up people and let everyone know the sun will shine again.

Just remember that we pull for the Greatest University on the face of the earth and it is a privelidge to call myself a LSU fan.

Anyone that tears down LSU is gonna get an earfull from me.

Damn right i am a LSU Homer and will be till the day i die.
  2. What happened to confirm this?
  3. I have to agree with you there...I just don't have the frame of mind right now to put up with all of the negative crap being spewed. And if any recruits ARE reading this then I have to say that if they base their decision to not come to LSU because of a very small minority of negative posters then they don't know what they will be missing. Tiger Stadium on Saturday is unlike any other place in the world.
  4. Recruits DO NOT care about what a bunch of 25-50 year olds have to say about the team and the coaching staff. Don't kid yourself.
  5. I agree. I seriously thought about just going away for a while, but I do get a lot of information here and there are many good posters...and that includes many who can intelligently analyze and criticize. The punks that try to stir up sh!t and offer nothing to the board (cedricg, carson in 98, meglapoop or whatever the phuck his name is, etc) will have to listen to me whenever they post their asinine, childish crap. I'm smarter than them, so I can put them away with very little effort.
  6. Don't kid yourself. Kids don't want to go to a program where the fans constantly knock the coaches & players. How the fans act & represent the program is something recruits care about.

  7. I dont really think recruits care all that much about what we think as fans. I think it is more of a general idea of what is going on. If you want to get the REAL feel of a place is to get out into the public.

You know a very bad example of this would be the war. You want the REAL story talk to a group of soldiers not the news. You want the feel of school talk to the fans that cheer because they want to, not the people that coach and get PAYED to make the school look good.
  8. Exactly...which is why you step into Tiger Stadium on a Saturday Night the hair stands up on the back of your neck. It's not because there is an spook sneaking up behind you. It's 95+ thousand fans rising up in one voice...and the induividual voice so prevelent in today's world. 10 years ago you complain about a coach around the water cooler and maybe 4-5 people hear you. Speak out on the internet and it is available to the entire world. These "kids" grew up in this electronic domain...don't think they don't respond to it.
  9. Yes and any recruit that experiences this and speaks to a coach about what they are trying to do at LSU, will not give any creed to a bunch of nobodies being critical of what they saw on the field, at least i hope an 18 year old recruit has a mind of his own and can better judge a staff and a team, rather then base their decision on someone who probably played 3rd string H.S. football or worse (Me).
  10. when you have people on this board saying things about being glad JR got hurt last night, and so on and so forth...then claim to be an LSU fan thru and thru.....you tell me a recruit sees that and does not wonder about the type of people supposedly cheering for LSU............

this is 2005, almost 2006...kids live on computers and the internet for the most part. I would imagine it does have an impact.
