Exactly, he can do what he wants. It does seem strange to me that, seemingly, his family wanted LSU, and he chose Alabama. Makes me wonder about him. Young guy...I'll leave it at that. Also, my hatred of Nick just grows stronger with this stuff. I have to admit...I can't figure out how he does it.
This is like Lebron and "the decision" Landon Collins just showed the college football world that he is a child, a drama queen follower who like to play games. He made his bed, now he must lay in it --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070176,-95.534926
If he has no respect and integrity for his mama, how can he commit to a coach or a team. Come on man! That's his mom!!! IDK bro, I wouldn't do my mom that way.......Just Sayin --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070190,-95.534955
Weren't you complaining about name calling in the bama T-shirt thread? As for his decision, so be it. LSU has no innate claim to him or his loyalty. We don't call out of staters who sign with LSU traitors to their home states. But he's the enemy now. Nothing wrong with throwing a little heat his way in the years to come. Looks like LSU will have the QB talent to "send him a message" when we play them. I'd go after him big time. Might help with future recruits on the fence, and even if it doesnt help recruitingwise..well you are either a Tiger or Tiger bait.
For the record, I wasn't really questioning his loyalty. I DO find it strange though. I remember wanting to get away somewhere else when I first went to college. If my family had pressured me, I might very well have pushed back even further. Definitely seems weird, though.
It is strange. LSU is such an obvious choice, that he must have a specific reason. Even if its just the gf, well why is she so sold on Alabama? Its not an elite academic destination. If she's not from Alabama (is she?), then whats her motivation? Not too many high school kids from outside Alabama sit around dreaming about going to school in Alabama. And if its true she has a scholarship, hopefully it wasnt a round about way by Bama to lure Collins.
We spent all our money on Gunner Bama is paying him more --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=30.070093,-95.534984
Does seem a bit staged since she is smirking while he makes his decision. Either way it's over, he's at Bama and we got plenty more players to be excited about http://assets.sbnation.vid.io/c720f23b90ca17d942fe529f895fcfad.mp4
Actually there were an awful lot of basic mistakes made by guys that are not supposed to make those kind of mistakes. Recruiting these days has turned into a circus and the Garrettl Gilbert, cant miss 5 star recruits going bust are starting to happen far more than they should. After reading and watching Jonathan Grey for the last 4 years I thought he looked very average right up until he got jacked and went out for good.
