I am not a Katy Perry fan, but at least this was a fairly tasteful half time show and my daughters thought it was great. My wife even said it wasn't bad. She didn't lip sync and the effects were pretty good. The selectors knew we wouldn't like it, but they also knew we would continue to watch the game so they reached their target audience which is the casual football watching fan that is watching for the commercials and the halftime show.
Spot on. Not to mention I thought last year with Bruno Mars was far worse as was Madonna before that. I did enjoy this last night.....Who Wore it Best? Katy or Will? Up With People.....they had to be kidding, circa 1986 New Orleans.

It sucked. My daughter hated it and she is 10. Katy Perry is a terrible singer and had it not been for Missy Elliot it would have been a complete disaster.
Really.....you see Katy Perry and you are concerned about her singing? Nobody ever sounds good in those settings but Ms Perry certainly has other qualities. I like Missy but if you don't know the song, who in hell can tell what she's rapping? I say more Lenny.
