I agree this is a slippery slope.

Did we really help ourselves or hurt ourselves?

I feel good that we will be fine regardless. Toliver is going to be really good.

Miles says that Lafell is weighing his options and still evaluating. He says that Ricky-Jean Francois was the only player he knows is definitely leaving for the draft.

Congrats to LaFell, may he have success. Here's hoping he sneaks into the end of the 1st or at least goes early-mid 2nd.

As for us I believe we'll be fine at WR with TT moving to undisputed #1, with either Benton/Randle/Peterson on the other side and one of the Mitchells or C. Tolliver in the slot. Plenty of talent at that position. While it would've been nice to have a vet like LaFell to usher those guys in, this just opens up the field for Toliver to finally shine.

my guess, by CLM saying that we will know in the next 4 days, is that he has told the NFL he is coming because he only has till tomorrow to do so. (explains the ESPN report) However, he has until Sunday to renig on that decision as long as he doesn't have any improper contact with an agent or hire an agent. So he told them yes because he is still thinking and it may take him longer than the deadlin, but he left the option to return. Either way I think we will get a press conference.

My brother and I were debating that very thing earlier. He said the exact thing you just mentioned. My question to him was, do we really want a player that shy,s away from LSU because nobody will be there to "take the pressure off of him"? Wouldn't we want a competitor that is ready to come in under any circumstances? If anything, I would think a true competitor would be excited at the oportunity to step right in.

No, nobody wants to be doubled. You might feel tough and masculine for two plays and then it sucks balls.

its not one or the other for rr. its just a nice thinking about taking pressure pressure off of him. im pretty sure it wont determine his future as he will be a star regardless.
