another mentally ill individual, regardless of color or ethnicity. we must address mental health. we have more people dying here in our own country at the hands of mentally ill people than we do in all of our wars over seas. mentally ill individuals often cling to a symbol or religion as a channel for their aggression and sadly, that channel (i.e. confederate flag, radical islam, etc.) is often what gets reported and not the root cause of the aggression....mental health issues.
I don't think you will get much of an argument on this, the question is how do we do it? Someone posted that he tried to buy a gun and was sent packing so at that point the laws worked. Yet he got one anyway. So how? Do we increase the penalty for dealing illegal guns? How do we address our looney tune issues?
