I like to think that given a full offseason to develop and not getting thrown in at the end of the season a few days before the game we'll see a different player. We're about to have pretty dominant bookends on the O-Line for the next three years at least. The interior is shaping up pretty nice next year as well.
Chris Faulk is or never was a "laEll collins" collins is one of the special ones that comes along every 10 years or so......when you think of collins...think of him more like...Micheal Ore....from ole miss( ravens) the blind side...this guy is that type of talent.
My brother says that the Barn is claiming on their board that Collins is now a 75% lean to the Barn and they are closing really strong (Go figure...they've got their bag man Trooper Taylor recruiting him). Is there ANY truth to this? If it were to happen, I will personally call the NCAA daily until they re-open an investigation into Barn U. This would be an identical situation to Cam Newton who was a lock to Mississippi State before swapping to the Barn at the last minute (Which I think we all know it is a matter of time before it comes out that Cam took money from the Barn). Get the f*ck away from Collins Auburn...you are dirty!!!!
Players commit to one school then switch to another all the time. We've lost kids to FSU or Georgia, we've turned commits from others. It's the nature of 17-18 year old kids. He has a friend who's on the Auburn team and he apparently likes the coaches. And it's not like we can't sell quick playing time to offensive line recruits. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys keep him because it's just hard to change a guy's mind late in the process in most cases. But if he does, don't be a big wuss and start crying about cheating.
Agreed. But if and when the NCAA busts the War Eagle down to a sparrow for cheating - don't be a wuss and start crying about it.
