I don't see LSU moving up only 1 or 2 spots.

With the fact that LSU has now learned Chancellor's system, voters should take into effect the poor loss to MTSU with an injured Fowles and just scratch that, and put this team at #3 ahead of UT, Rutgers and Maryland.

Way to geaux Lady Tigers! I'm so glad that we have lots of people that can step up and score. Erica White is a great PG.

Wahoooooo!!!! 78-62 at Tennessee???? What???? The Lady Tigers have a coach!!!

At 21-2 Tennessee, I had 5 Tennessee friends call me to yell in my ear. None of them have called me back. Congrats Lady Tigers and Coach Van Chancellor on a great win and first place in the SEC. I have no doubt Coach Van will have this team ready for this years NCAA tournament. :geauxtige

We play Uconn and they have 3 players injured and its starting to take its effect, so LSU needs to take advantage, along with the fact its at the PMAC.

A win there and its a #1 seed locked up, provided we don't get upset in any of our regular season games and can make it to the finals of the SEC tourney.

Forget Pokey, Van the Man has these girls playing loose and flying all over the court. I watched the game, then had some things to do, but couldn't wait to get here and read this thread. I remember thinking the same as y'alls comments when we were down 21-2. However, I didn't think it was over. At that point I wondered about Van because we were intimidated and playing scared. But Van kept our team cool, and TN and Candyass Parker, who is great but I hate her attitude, started playing like they had it won. LSU tightened the vise on D and brought it to the Vols. I absolutely loved the look of defeat on their faces most of the 2nd half.

Anyone else notice the last few times we got the ball the TN players didn't run down court and we got 2 snowbirds (or layins, or freebees, or crip shots)? What a bunch of losers! I was talking to the TV (again) "Hey Pat, how's the clock operator gonna save you this time?"

Congrats to our Lady Tigers and Coach Van Chancellor!

Missed the game dagnabbit. I see it was a good one. I think Van brings a lot more stability than Pokey. We win the SEC if we win out.

Let's see, we went to the final four the last 4 seasons. I hate programs that are up 1 year down the next. You're right.

I am excited just like the next person about this team. It's all or nothing for this program this year as we lose way too many seniors. It might be an uphill climb for a couple of seasons to come, as no one has stepped up in the underclasswomen. Let's wait to proclaim Van the Man until he gets past the final four game, something we have never been able to do.

next year is when we'll see how great Van is.

when the team is still competing, despite losing 9 players.

With the class he has coming in, they will still be in the upper-half of the league.

EDIT: I know ISLSTL is a recruiting junkie, so this is the "Rivals" for Women's bball...

    http://hoopgurlz.com/

LSU has ink from 6 players in the National Top 70.

    To put perspective into this.

    LSU beat UT by 16.

the USA Senior National team beat UT by 11.

That's right. The senior national team, with Seimone, Sue Bird, Taurasi, Lisa Leslie, etc...
