That's quite an accomplishment. Congrats. We are the only team to play for the Football national championship and the basketball national championship in the same year. Unfortunately, we lost both games. It was back in the late 80's.
Did you mean to say heifer or hefty? They should rename the team from the Crimson Tidettes or whatever to the Cow Girls. I'm sure that Borden's would be glad to sponsor them. Got Milk?
That's not true. LSU basketball under Dale Brown never made it past the final four semi-final game in football. And LSU never played for the national title in the 80s. The closest they came is the Orange Bowl game that they barely lost to Nebraska (I forget the year). But they had just lost to Tulane the last game of the season to ruin any chance of a NC, as LSU was ranked #4 in the nation going into that game. The Orange Bowl people must have been really pissed by that result. Worst loss in LSU football history IMO (as far as games you should have won and the magnittude of the loss).
Who's that? thought you disappeared there Okie. I was fixing to send out an APB to Muskogee. wouldn't be the same round here without an Okie or two to pick on. GEAUX LADY SOFTBALL TIGERS :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
It will be nice when we beat OU in the final game like we did in football.... losing both games will repeat itself like in the 80's just one for a different title. BTW, OU has the best looking girls by far on their softball team. Between USL and Bama I was convinced it was a requirement to field a team that horrified the opposition.
When the game is on TV the camera is on the pitcher most of the time. It should be a requirement that every team have a hot looking pitcher. :thumb: :thumb:
