OK I will hang around but I am going to still ride your asses about this offense. You guys are looking in the wrong area for our weakness. Look at it this way. We beat Aub, Miss St, Ole Miss. Miami and Georgia in fact we soundly beat Georgia. So right now we are the 2nd best team in the SEC, did anyone here think we would be here right now?. How can you possible judge O, E or anyone on this staff yet? We have had guys leave early, guys transfer, guys kicked off the team and good ones, lost 2 back up TE's and injuries on the OL so bad that that for 5 staright game we didn't start the same unit. O is in his second year as HC and E his 1st along with our OL coach. This will be O's 2nd year of recruiting HIS players. Miles recruiting the last 2 years was average and especially at OL and QB. You need to get off E's back it's not his fault and it's onlt his first full year. You guys have the patients of a damm hummingbird.
I agree with most of what you’ve said but I do think that we have seen enough to judge Ensminger. His offense is a little simplistic. Lots of zone runs, some play action, and some shotgun 4-wise passing. He is good, but I think he comes with a ceiling. Can we be top-5 with him? Sure. Will we ever with a national championship with him? Probably not. If we want to compete with Bama and Clemson, we need an elite OC. Ensminger is good, but not elite. Bring him back as TE coach and grab Freeze.
If it seems simplistic maybe it's beause Jeaux is not experienced enough, our OL cant do certain plays and our WR's are all new starters. Only so much you can put in that will work. What we have put in got us to 7-1 before Bama which in my view is unbeatable this year. Also this is E's first year as OC. For Christ sakes give our coaches some damm time.
