I agree completely. That was an amazing first drive by LSU and it was not replicated at any point afterwards in the game. I was suprised to see JR come in so early.
Early dropped the ball. There's no second guessing that. It hit him in the shoulder pad. Granted, it was the shoulder pad where it's thrown slightly behind him, but in that situation, you must make that catch because it's a highly catchable ball. We gotta learn to catch with our hands. Dwayne Bowe at this point is our ONLY WR. And give the start to Alley Broussard because JV hasn't done a damn thing. And JaMarcus should start because Randall can't throw. He throws a wobble on a bubble screen, throws high, low, wide left, and wide right, and they're badly missed. JaMarcus's at least are in the vicinity. Bottom line is that Alley should have gotten the ball 30 times today and when he's not in the game, we should have spread the field because JaMarcus can actually make all the throws. And what no one has mentioned is that our missing of XPs finally bit us in the butt. It could have bitten us last year, which would have been absolutely heart-wrenching, but thankfully it waited this long. And although I'm in the "Want JaMarcus to start, but still like and will root for Randall" camp...why would you switch QBs after such a starting drive?
At times!! I can get accurate at times but I am not a qb for one of the top programs in the nation :dis:
