Big operations like Bordens and Walmart mix milk from dozens of dairies together to get that even taste. Milk from a single dairy is more like natural cow's milk on the farm where the flavor of the milk changes by season as the cows moved from grazing grass in the summer to eating hay and grain in the winter. It all tastes good and natural to me. Especially since I started drinking fat-free milk about 20 years ago. Dad always said that fat-free milk was more like the farm milk that he grew up with than homogenized milk, because they skimmed off the cream to make butter.
Going to try their Prailines and Cream today...can't wait till Blue Bell's Cake and Ice Cream flavor comes out in March.
