geez. you are the one that asked for the definition. The definition was provided that showed you were wrong so the only thing left is for you to do is name call. Bravo. 66% of 1 hour will never equal "a couple of minutes" no matter how you try to warp reality to fit your argument.
considering that most of us define a "couple" the same way it is defined with the first few ( more than two) listings that krypto gave, which would be as two, i think it is fair and reasonable for most of us to have read "a couple" in your post, and thought of two. certainly no more than a "few" which is thelast and most uncommon definition. and given that sf's timing was 22-23 (i think, i would have to reread the post) minutes, i would consider that far more than even a few. i would consider that "several". so a "couple" still doesnt fit. by far. id say off by maybe a good 15 minutes. which would be a quarter of an hour.
The request for a definition was for your benefit. I am well aware of what the word "couple" means. If I had meant two minutes or one hundred and twenty seconds, I would have used the word "two". "Couple" is an indeterminate amount in small increments. 20 minutes is not a long time unless you're five years old. Of the millions of miles I have flown, I have never had too stow my electronic devices for anything approaching 20 minutes. Fifteen minutes, tops and that's rare.

Dude, drop it already. A couple minutes by pretty much anyone except you would at most mean less than five. As to having flown millions of miles, that sounds like more than a couple million. I'm gonna guess that millions would probably mean around 5 million. Since you have worked for the airline for 13 years, that works out to 384,615 miles per year, 32051 miles per month, or 1456 miles every single workday of every single year for 13 years (no vacations). How on earth do you have time to post here? :huh:
I once got pulled over by a cop and when asked how much I had to drink I replied, "just a couple of beers". He let me go. Luckily he didn't realize my definition of "a couple" was 26. :insane:
