As I said earlier I hope this succeeds and wish him all the luck. However the crowing that it was a brilliant move is ridiculous. All of the last 4 presidents could have met any of the 3 Kims at any time. However it was judged to be a bad deal. North Korea is a rogue regime that has never accepted the partition or ended the war. They have reneged on every agreement they have made....including making a monkey out of one William Jefferson Clinton. Every president has set a list of pre-conditions typo be met before and two party meeting could be held. Why? Because having a meeting with the president of the US is a recognition of NK as a power and Kim as a world leader. Trump the great deal maker gave away a treasured desire for nothing. Likewise a meeting without form is a disaster waiting to happen. The chances of it going horribly wrong far outweigh the potential for success. Rather than planning for the worst and preparing Trump seems to be throwing the dice and just hoping for the best.
