Who would want to work for this guy? It appears it's a landing spot until a better gig comes along but it's got to be very unpleasant working for this prick!!! With Sarks other issues I didn't see him making it in that pressure cooker, and coming off a SB lose it might not be better in the ATL either! I know it won't happen but it would be nice to see him not land a great hire so we can all laugh at him.
That's funny @GiantDuckFan! I don't think even Les could stand being around that turd. Also Les likes to spend time with his family and that is taboo within the SS....ah I mean coaching staff!
No days off no days off Belichick in the parade got this chant going saying his team took no days off. The apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Bet if we changed a name, you've said that before. Son? I'll give ya that if I can call you "ol' lady." Yesteday I surfed around, a little, reading different reactions to this news. There were some venting--same ones that normally bitch about everything--and others who've just moved on. It really didn't create much emotional reaction out of me hearing this. Although, yesterday did bring up a question or two. I can't find a reason to worry about this. I wasn't familiar with Mac when he came in. I was with Nuss, via Mac. I was with Kiffin. In the end, they've all done their job; well, in fact. It'll be interesting this summer. Right now the Tide is looking at two new hires with no doubt. It's very likely it'll be three when (I don't anticipate an if) the 10th assistant rule is implemented. I suspect we'll see a lot try to make this into more of a story that it is and in the end we'll see a very good staff when fall camp kicks off. It's a different position having Saban hiring staff members versus some of the searches we've seen for coordinators--recently, in fact. Here's a few questions to ponder. Where has Saban been for the last month? What's Saban been doing for the last month? Where have all the other staff members been for the last month? And what have they been doing? So, where's all of this time--as SBNation tries to insinuate--Saban and Sark have had to discuss aspects of the offense for this fall? These were the questions that crossed my mind. Interestingly enough, the same questions were repeated by those covering the program in Tuscaloosa.
@TerryP what was the issue with these two? Was it philosophical differences, i.e. Did Sark want a more wide open approach and Nick didn't or vise versa? From knowing Nick like we all do he is a run first kinda of guy, but has seen the need to spread it a little with the changing times, but it would be hard for me to believe he would go full tilt and embrace the current trend. It's obvious from the NC, that although defense wins championships, putting up points is becoming more of a priority. It will be hard to win games with 10 points or less like in the past, as these new offenses have caught up with the defensive schemes. What say you?
