    Great Post!

Your first correct assumption ... It will be a close game ... until just after kickoff when the score is tied 0 - 0 ... then LSU will roll 38 - 13 (+/- 7 points either way) ... to another double digit win ... here's why

Another correct assumption ... THIS IS LSU's HUGE ADVANTAGE worth at least 10 points ... The special teams play totally negates Bama's home field advantage and adds a FG or more on top of that!

I don't dream of gangs of gorgeous lil Thai girls pawing at me at night anymore ... I dream of Badboy Wing (aka, Coffin Corner Kid) hanging punts inside the Bama 10 yard line all night long & watching looks of despair on the Alabama sideline as they go three and out!

Did anyone notice the Bammers spewing statistical crap on other forums ... How Bama is running up almost 450 yards a game on folks

... BUT SCORING LESS THAN LSU

ITS THE SHORT FIELD & THE T.O. MARGIN THAT'S SKEWING STATS

Let's not even talk about those 0 yd punt returns, vicious bone jarring hits (Go Reid) and fumbles that you didn't mention! Auburn was supposed to be the DARLING OF SEC SPECIAL TEAMS

... I'll bet they felt "special" watching the replay of that game:hihi:

Along with special teams ... this will add another 10 or more points in LSU's favor ... depending on how many times Bama turns it over

... I'm expecting 3 or more T.O.'s from Bama as LSU's defense plays its best game of the year ... while I see LSU maybe giving up one!

Great point: LSU's advantage is the big play ability will put bama in a "come from behind" mode early in this game ... TR will break a few short runs and will get some short passes as expected, but should be contained VERY WELL. Their WRs will get a few catches but nothing significant enough to keep drives alive ... AND THATS LSU'S BIG EDGE

If I am wrong and LSU doesn't roll the tide by double digits, then undoubtedly the advantage goes to the "tested" QB ... and LSU wins

In closing, there are lotsa fools skeered by this bama bunch! There's even a few sissies in here predicting bama blowouts! :dis:

The one point you left out was ... EXECUTION! There's a few reasons for this great execution!

Ain't no Tiger team in history has ever "executed plays" and made things happen like this bunch ... And the 3 bad boys are back from the edge of the abyss where they saw what a ruined future looks like ... Cecil Collins comes to mind

... I P~I~T~Y alabama when they come to collect! We gonna dive play Bama to death on Nov 5.

And we got the best OC/DC in America with our special and secret weapon ... The "3-in-the-box"

Kragthorpe/Stud/Chavis all watching/talking/adjusting as the game is played ... This is where the message gets to the players ... This is where EXECUTION begins ... Our OC/DC team

I ain't even talked about the HAT ... He's got two weeks to direct the dance and diktrik Saban again ... Nicky don't stand a chance!

I'm almost gonna miss watching the game ... but you don't turn down a Big Five game hunt in Africa, especially when I can take a big bull elephant

I will be there in the Dome again ... got my tickets reserved already

So much talk about where we have the advantage vs where they have the advantage. These teams are just to comparable to really tell. It is going to take 60 minutes of everyone on our squad giving 100% to win this one. We will need top performance from every player in every phase of the game to take this one.

As long as we play for coverage and not too many blitzes we will shut down any so-called passing game that Bama poses. IMO - AJ hasn’t proven the ability to thread the needle, and the Bama wr's haven’t proven the ability to run good routes and get open down field. If we play good coverage defense, the screens won’t work, the crossing routes won’t work and we also increase the chances of forcing interceptions & coverage sacks. With continuing to rotate a fresh 4 up front against a banged up Bama line, we will eventually start pressuring.

As for AJ's 1600 yards passing, I would say OVER half of those have come on YAC from short routes and screens, I haven’t seen Alabama have the ability to throw deep in a vertical passing game. Not against a "Legit" defense anyhow - Tenn. doesn’t count.

Alabama’s biggest advantage – Home Field – That is it.

LSU’s biggest advantage – Battle Tested

We have been battle tested in big games, in big moments, against tougher competition. We played three (maybe four) teams in the national spotlight on a national stage knowing that we were under a microscope and we completely looked un-phased and downright DOMINANT. We opened up as underdogs in the biggest game of the year against Oregon, we were again put to the test on primetime national TV on a Thursday night in Starkville, in a HUGE emotionally packed game because Moo U knew that their season was on the line. Then we did the same exact thing the very next week, this time a Saturday Night, in Morgantown where WVU knew their BCSNC hopes and dreams were on the line in a must win situation.

We were picked to lose by MANY in all three of those games and truly were not getting the attention and love we deserved until we accomplished those HUGE & DOMINANT VICTORIES.

Then after beating 3 SEC teams by a combined score of 114 to 25 and allowing a total of only 607 yards of total offense between the 3, we were faced with yet another challenge. The suspensions of 3 KEY players including our starting tailback, a key defensive back and the best DB in the Nation; the most electrical playmaker in the country – known to most as “The Honey Badger” Losing these guys just days before our rematch with the team that ruined our BCS hopes last year, the defending national champions who appeared to have found their way on defense and solved their QB issues came on in to town ranked #20 in the country. Again, some folks had us on upset alert, others saying the game would definitely be close and this again would be another huge test for the mad hatter and his LSU Tigers. How did we respond??? Took them out back to the wood shed and curb stomped their ass, show casing more depth and more talent that most people never even knew existed on our ridiculously stacked roster.

In or past 4 games, (All SEC Games, 2 against ranked teams) we outscored our opponents 159 to 35 - LSU’s offense has passed for 840 yards and 9 touchdowns while rushing for another 850 yards and 10 touchdowns. Oh did I mention that we forced 7 turnovers all while giving up ZERO during this 4 game conference stand.

It is so funny listening to the nay sayers who STILL continue to doubt. There is only one fact I can comprehend from some of these idiots, and that is, that even after beating Bama, they will STILL doubt because they are that phuckin stupid!

Gary Danielson on Finebaum Monday, “LSU has faced 4 backup QB’s this season” Really Gary??? Really??? 4??? By that Logic, we have faced 7. Because if memory serves me correct both Dan Mullen AND Joker Phillips were SO frustrated and embarrassed by their starting QB’s that they pulled them and played the #2, UF & AU ran 2 QB systems, making that 7 backup QB’s. When in actuality Mosely WAS the starter (not the backup), so we have faced only 2, UF. And Tenn. (The same 2 that Bama faced for 7 out of 8 quarters!)

    My Rant is DONE

I have an opinion on what factors WON'T determine the outcome - contrary to popular opinions stated here (as usual, for me).

The Trenches - Both Bama & LSU have terrific OL's & DL's. If one of them dominated, it would make a difference - but neither will. Both are too good for that to happen.

Trent Richardson - Richardson has never determined a game's outcome. He's a great RB, he'll get some yards, but our Defense will tackle & control him.
