I'll say it. I'm concerned that we 1) lost Chavis and 2) hired a guy with the bad press I'm reading about him.
What concerns me are the mental breakdowns if they are true. We don't need someone passing out on the sidelines or needing IV during a game because of nerves. Might be why Nick didn't have him doing anything important.
Well, for the minions that continue to bloviate about Alabama, we got a coach that just came out of the semi-final. Don't know how it will go, but the full on negativity is really tiring. Urban sucked his last year at UF and a bunch of this board were gobbling his knob today. Some times change is great and Steele is a full on recruiter. We will see about the defense. If you get what you wish, he will suck and Les will get fired and we will drop into the mire for another decade. You have that to cheer for! Geaux Tigers!
We are going to drop into the mire before Les gets fired. I get the positive outlook, it is refreshing but the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
Not a very sexy hire. I'm a little worried. But he is known as a good recruiter. Now to see if we keep brick. Hope we do AND hire Orgeron. I'm gonna keep an open mind. Could be good, he's coached under some really good defensive minds.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Steele LOL I got a laugh out of this!! "Kevin Steele (born May 17, 1958) is the current defensive coordinator for LSU. His hire only ensured tDecline of LSU football. Prior to that, he coached inside linebackers for the football team at Alabama. He is a former American football coach and player. Previously, he was the defensive coordinator at Clemson University from 2009 until early 2012.[1] From 1999 to 2002, Steele served as the head football coach at Baylor University, compiling a record of 9–36 overall and 1–31 in the Big 12 conference."
It is as if he were fucking this whole thing up on purpose? Bizzare, just strange, all of it. Not ideal. I will be watching with hands over my eyes from here on.
