I doubt if Pete wanted to get as technical as you did in that post, he would have lost 90% of the readers immediately. When you have 4 guys on the line and 3 defenders behind them it is still a 4-3 no matter who the defenders are. Doesn't matter if a lb is in a 3 point stance and a safety has rolled up it is still a 4-3.

And I am guessing you missed that he said that Steele will likely play that to a DEGREE.

I would hope that He develops and uses formations not only on down & distance but also on personnel, if we ain't got a bonafide NG I'd guess we won't run too much 3-4. However I do know we have a space eaters on campus that might just be made for that position. I'm thinking we might not have the beef at LB to run a lot of 3-4 right now though. We'll see.

These snarky gumps with their constant passive aggressive shots at LSU makes me want to knock a bitch out.

We'll have to just agree to disagree here, caj. A nickel package is still a nickel package: five defensive backs.

Do I need to add you to the list, the one @Bengal B is on, of those who I wonder who they are hanging out with?

How does the expression go...people hang around those of like mind? You would fit in a group of "snarky people," which is a good thing, BTW.

A Snarky Gump would be a good hunting camp cocktail.

Let's say . . . an Old Forrester bloody mary with shrimp.

"Dey's uh, boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, barbecued shrimp, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. There's lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, . . . "

And The Snarky Gumps would make a good name for a C&W band.

The deadspin article (if you follow the link from the NOLA article) says that it was later learned that the fake account was set up by an Alabama fan.
