I just do not get this at all. Makes zero sense. If Steele is the best we could get then that must be saying something about how coaches feel about where LSU is headed with Miles over these next seasons. If you aren't going to hire a known commodity then show some loyalty and promote Brick. At this point he may now lose Brick. I'm not at all liking the mental breakdowns. Now we have a DC who may pass out and a HC who sleepwalks through a game. Not a good combo. Miles really should just step away from coaching while he still has a decent reputation.

And not only do I not like the hire, I really don't like the whole smoke and mirrors game as if he had some big fish on the line. What the hell was all that about? We have heard for a while now that "his target had been identified " Well its a damn good thing he kept that one a secret.
