If you didn't see it live, go to YouTube or something similar and watch their induction speeches. Kevin's was especially moving. Great recognition for two former LSU greats.
And Jerry Stovall. He is thought of as an RB but he also played in the secondary on defense and was a DB in his pro career.
I was very glad to see Mawae get in. I thought his being so active in NFLPA during some turbulent labor years might work against him and perhaps it did . How long has he been eligible? Also happy for Johnny Robinson. Much deserved for both.
Seeing Robinson get in reminded me of former Tiger players who sat by us in the stadium over the years.Moonie Winston, Warren Capone, Billy Truax ,Jeff Wickersham . Andy Hamilton - all pleasant guys . They just sat watched the game and always seemed polite when someone asked for an autograph.
Kevin Faulk probably won't ever get in but if you look at his contribution to the Patriots offense over 12 seasons in the NFL he should be.
He's a Patriots HOF player, but he's nowhere close to a pro football HOFer, and I say that even when Kevin Faulk is arguably responsible as the main cog behind the resurgence of LSU football. He's an amazing all time great. One of my favorites ever. Just didn't put up enough numbers. Julian Edelman is similar.
