Kentucky vs. Florida I have been wondering who to root for in this one. Case number one - I hate Florida. Go KY. Case number two - I don't want to play Florida again in the SECCG, and would love a rematch with KY for payback. Go KY. But, Case number three - assuming LSU may need strength of schedule to help them lock up the number 2 spot at least in the BCS (I really hope it doesn't come down to this), is it better for Florida or KY to win? Florida would probably drop out of the polls if they lost, thus hurting LSU's SOS and quality wins. But if Florida wins, it improves LSU's SOS as far as FL is concerned, and KY probably won't fall that far, and may not lose again. What do you guys think? Go Scarlet Knights!
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida I think UF would probably stay in the polls...(top 25)...and certainly would be in the top 25 by the time the year ends. If KY wins, it improves THEIR appearance...and thusly...it improves the appearance of our 3OT loss to them. Personally, I'm rooting for KY. Makes more sense to want the team that BEAT you look really good than to have them lose to a 2 loss team.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida I'm going for Kentucky too but I don't think they gonna be able to pull this one out. I'm hoping though. I would love to beat them guys in the SEC Championship game.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida I agree that FL probably wins. In fact, I would put money on it if I were a gambling man. But this is the year of whack outcomes, so who knows.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida Root for Kentucky. Their defense is porous and we can beat them on a neutral field, especially on the turf in the Georgia Dome. Florida is as fast as LSU is and can play both defense and offense.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida I want the team that beat us to look the best. Besides, I don't really want to play Fl again in Atlanta. So I am for Ky. But my main focus is on us winning out.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida Best case for us would be to catch a 1 loss UK team that beat us in the SEC Champ game, and for us to throttle them.
Re: Kentucky vs. Florida I would tend to agree.. I'd rather not face Florida again for the SECCG, I mean since we're saying what scenario we'd rather have.
