he was probably talking about the UK-Duke game where Christian Leattner (SP) hit that turn around jumper at the buzzer in the NCAA tourney.

I'm sure it still stings Kentucky Fans, but in years to come, both LSU & Kentucky Fans will enjoy the fact that it was simply one of the strangest, most unbeleivable plays in College football history.

I am a UK fan. Yes, it hurt right after the play. And I might have been referenced earlier as the UK fan who has seen it all happen before, because I have.

I remember just having a LOT of fun with the Tiger fans during the game, friend of mine being an LSU fan got us tickets in the LSU section. Good natured ribbing and all that.

What I will never forget is an LSU fan in front of me basically calling it quits when UK made the field goal with 11 seconds left. I remember telling him, its never over with UK, there are still 11 seconds.

After the miracle, this guy just turned and looked at me with stunned disbelief. I just remember smiling and shaking my head.

This game was a classic and instantly after the game, I told my friend that yeah, the outcome was obviously disappointing, but some day I will laugh when I see that play and realize I was part of one of the greatest plays of college football.

Again, I had great LSU fans around me and that made all the difference. Good people. Kudos.

Ironically, I felt the same way about the Arkansas game. Even when Matt Jones had to go 80 yards in 40 seconds with no timeouts, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were gonna find a way to lose. But that's OK, as long as we beat Ole Priss and shut all their flamers the hell up :)
