  2. Clerks of court have lots of other duties besides issuing marriage licenses. Licenses are only a small function of the office.
  3. One time I told this guy who works for the state that if all state employees didn't show up for work for a month nobody would notice. He got mad.

  4. It's my religious belief that I can't actually work at a job site. I must stay home and work according to my religion.

  6. No she has dozens of other duties to perform, just as soon as she gets them all checked for religious purity.
