I don't think we should act like Kellen Sr. is such a great guy either. He didn't want Kellen Jr. to play for Washington only because the coaches were white. The only reason he was 'allowed' to go to Miami, which has a white head coach, is that the receivers coach, who Kellen Jr. would work with, was black. http://shinbone.home.att.net/winslow.htm
If anyone saw the ESPN Gameday Preseason Special, Herbstreit had a WAY TOO LONG and UNNECCESARY piece with Winslow. Herbstreit asked Winslow what it was like to learn from and sit behind Jeremy Shockey as a true freshman. Winslow answers that it was "tough to be a BIG STAR and have to sit out for a year." WHAT? Okay.... #1: Jeremy Shockey was AT LEAST one of the top two tight ends in college football that year. #2: Winslow was a TRUE FRESHMAN. And he didn't enroll early or anything like that. #3: Winslow STILL got to play in the second half of almost every game because the average Miami game ended 43 to 9. This assclown needs a severe beating....or he can get drafted by the Arizona Cardinals.
