Today is the first day of the signing period. He can sign now or wait till later. But it's a risk because does a school hold open the promised scholarship or rescind the offer. It's also a really crappy deal for the schools in this case LSU because likely the coaching staff will hold the scholarship for KW. But if he signs with someone else LSU gets screwed because it didn't get him and likely it loses out on another kid it could've signed had there been a scholarship available. I wish the NCAA would make verbal commitments binding...once a player commits to a school he can't switch his commitment without losing a year of eligibility. It would cut down on some of this shenanigans and make the kids absolutely sure before committing.
       Why is it that when Tillman decides to switch to Ole Miss, some of you guys were saying that he needs to "grow up" and his parents need to let him make his own choice, but when Williams can't decide----"his momma needs to bitch slap him until he signs for LSU?"   Let him go and give his Mom the 'ship if she is that tough.  Rivals says he has three LOI sitting in front of him...LSU, USC, OLE MISS---But it seems the decision is between LSU AND USC. But it would be something to see if OM pulled it off....
If he decides to go to OM then LET HIM GO! Wish him good luck, pat him on the back and go back to work. NO CRYING!
I bet his mom is tough.....and I bet she'd be one hell of a fullback! I never said that anyone should "grow up". But I would love to see someone's mom bitch slap 'em! :hihi:
No, he would be a moron, just like tillman! Do I want to play with the best talent in the south on offense or play at ole piss! If KW does go to Ole Piss then he will get pounded :bncry: by our defense just like Brandon Jacobs Did! As far as Tillman, he could played alongside deas, woods, favorite, rjf, but he wants to be the man! UH GOOD LUCK with that! :dis:
They already did that - by making a national signing day that's binding. The verbal commitment thing evolved out of that.
