Hester is the most reliable running back we have and did well tonight. Williams is a comer and we will be seeing more of him and Scott. We need to be deep at RB, I don't mind playing three or four backs. We got about 230 yards rushing today, what is the problem with that?

I think we rushed the ball well, although I usually hate seeing JR hold it out there like a loaf of bread. He fumbles once per game, and we got lucky in this one. 71 yards ain't shabby though.

I think the major problem is with the OL, but KW has so much ability that he can make things happen despite the line.

Sorry, but I disagree. The OL is the major problem. By and large the play-calling has been good.

They definitely were not expecting Russell to run. I don't think Russell did either.

We should give back the win. No way we deserve to be 7-2.

And yet "Hester should be the horse" is a post you'll never see. Amazing huh?

whoever was complaining about the delayed handoff, im not exactly sure what youre talking about but that sounds liek a draw. i didnt really see any draws today so maybe youre talking about a read play(QB puts it in RBs gut, looks at defender who is being keyed and decides to keep or give). my pet peeve all year has been that we dont run many/any draws. our pass blocking is pretty good and it would help our run game. i think that is what we saw with JR, granted it took longer to develop then a draw but the defense dropped back because it didnt have to respect the run and it left a lot of green open for about a 10 yard area in front of the LOS.

as for who to run with...

keiland showed that he is great in the open field which you could see in his HS highlight vids but also showed that sometimes there is just nowhere to go when the OLine is all getting pinched inside and the defenses' OLBs and DEs are folding in on you. broussard doesnt seem to get a full head of steam going like he used to, JV is more tentative than the rest and needs to just put his head down and see if he gets out the other side. dont know why we didnt see scott today, anybody? hester ran well and you see that there are some holes initially and when the FB gets the dive, he is able to get through the holes before they collapse. i love how we are using trindon, just sending him as a decoy essentially blocks atleast two players and more like 4 or 5 with the safety, 2 backer, and corner all having to respect his speed to the outside as well as the OLB and DE. i would have liked to see a little bit of early under center.
