Look at the 'Bama/AU highlight video here; specifically, 1:11-1:18 showing a Saban meltdown that gladdens the heart!!! https://www.espn.com/college-football/ One can actually see the moment that Little Nicky realizes that his dynasty has unraveled, that what LSU began on November 09, 2019, has come to fruition. Enjoy your dinner, Nicky: bitterness, roasted in bile, drizzled in hopelessness, marinated in failure. Fun Fact: 'Bama's three losses in one year have been delivered by "Tigers" (Clemson, LSU, Auburn).
You know, I've been a football fan for 67 years, LSU fan for 61. But watching these coaches who are paid millions and millions of dollars going berserk on the sidelines, and having their tantrums, not to mention, utter meltdowns, is about to put me off the sport. Yesterday, I witnessed Saban, Mahtxxxxx (Auburn) and Jimbo all twisted up and going nuts in the course of a couple hours yesterday. (Saw coach O laughing during same timeframe, though I am sure he has had his moments, too). Others did the same stuff. I realize this idiocy on the part of highly paid coaches is not to change the current call, but to influence the next one, but watching Nick Saban dance around like a drunk Indian having some sort of seizure, during a GAME (yes, a freaking game) is about more than I can handle. Don't bother to tell me it's about the money. I know it is, and that is probably the root of the problem.
I recall that Coach O stated during a post-game conference that his two sprints down the sidelines caused him to nearly pull a groin muscle--and that would "not be a pretty sight." We've got an amazing coach, fo' schizzle!
It's not about the money. Coaches have always been a bit nutso. Remember Woody Hayes punching a Clemson player? If you think football coaches are crazy watch some college basketball.
You are right, in fact, I almost addressed basketball coaches, but decided my post was getting wordy. And I do remember Woody!
Amazing stat I heard last week. Was how I knew Bama was going down. Bama was 0-7 at Jordan-Hare when both teams are ranked in the AP poll. Now 0-8. Saban has never beaten an Auburn team with 9 or more wins.
