Teams that would definitely make it ahead of a 1 loss Alabama. Undefeated or 1 loss Big 10 Champ Ohio State Undefeated Minnesota 1 loss Big 10 Champ Penn State Undefeated Clemson Undefeated or 1 loss LSU 1 loss SEC Champ Georgia Undefeated Baylor The likeliest scenario to guarantee Alabama getting shut out is an undefeated LSU losing to a 1 loss Georgia in the SECCG. Game, set, match. Teams that could get in over Alabama and in order of likelihood: 1 loss Oregon 1 loss Utah 1 loss Oklahoma 1 loss Big 10 Champ Minnesota 1 loss ACC Champ Clemson I got Oregon 75% chance, Utah 50%, Oklahoma 30%, Minnesota 20%, Clemson 10%. Teams that won't get in ahead of Alabama: 1 loss Big 12 Champ Baylor Any Conference Champ that has 2 losses My prediction 1. Undefeated LSU 2. Undefeated Clemson 3. 1 loss Big 10 Champ 4. 1 loss Oregon UPDATED: November 12
I honestly don't see Bama getting in. I think they may be ranked 4 or 5 tomorrow, but like in a previous year they will be passed over. I think the loss being at home and them not playing anyone of note besides Auburn. Which we must hope lose to UGA just to be safe. I think OSU and Clemson remain unbeaten. LSU vs UGA is no guarantee either, which would put two SEC schools. I think we in regardless of the SECG if we win out.
I am convinced lil Napoleon is the one who ratted out Chase Young to get Ohio St in trouble and keep them out greasing the wheels for the gumps to sneak back in.
So, you’re thinking we should lose to UGA so that we still make the playoffs and ALA doesn’t? LOL. I know you’re just talking hypotheticals and not really suggesting that, but it’s insinuated.
