Keep it factual please - The Incident

RP reminds me of another player we had that could have been great, Cecil Collins. All the talent in the world but the brains of an idiot. We got rid of him and "IF" everything being said is true maybe its time CLM looks for another leader for next years team.

 

I'm reserving judgement until all the facts are know but IF RP and Odom did what is being reported they need to go or have some heavy suspensions. RP can't be a team leader acting like that and I sure don't want to see someone like that leading the team next year. I hope the facts reveal the truth. Maybe it won't be as bad as it seems right now but who knows.

 

FWIW (not much really), that's how Facebook posts your status changes. The "mini-feed" always puts the person's name instead of a pronoun.

 

Remember the guy in Blazing Saddles that says, "More beans Mr. Taggert?"

I met him in an elevator in an Embassy Suites in Denver. Very nice guy - appreciated being recognized.

There is nothing to worry about as of right now if it was a really big deal we would already know how can yall want these guys punished when no body has been even accused yet just mentioned

Because it can hurt the image of the program. If players name come up every time there is a fight or some kind of confrontation its has to in some way hurt recruiting, no?

 

You're right, no biggie. In fact, we should be use to this kind of behavior from these two. It's the norm.

 

Probably a generational thing. My generation (Gen X) still buys into the whole "accountability", "respect for authority" thing. This generation (Millinium Generation) is much less oriented toward heirarchical institutions. So, my generation isn't nearly as interested in whether a conviction (or even an accusation) comes down as we are in the fact that these young men allowed themselves to get in the situation to begin with. AGAIN. And AGAIN.

Sorry. Unless this story proves to be fabricated out of WHOLE CLOTH, I'm personally done with Odom and only just this side of it with RP. I'd think after Vick and all the other crap going on, more folks would be getting fed up with athletes - who are getting free educations and some of them set up for millionaire futures - acting like common street gang members. Or has our culture fully descended to that level? I'm over 40, so I might have missed that...

Of course, my opinions mean exactly NADA. Which is why I CAN comment before the facts are out.
