Times are different now compared to the 60's. Once upon a time the media protected athletes. Now they bask in their misdeeds, searching for even the smallest slip-up for a story. Ty Cobb 'supposedly' once killed a guy, but the sportswriters covered it up so he could continue playing.

I'm waiting for all of the dust to settle and find out what really happened. I'm
sure that there will be multiple stories and the "truth" will turn on who you believe. I will give both players the benefit of the doubt for the time being. However, what message is sent when a college kid essentially has a criminal defense lawyer on retainer ?

You got it my wise friend! :thumb:

You know it costs money to do that too, I hope RP has a good part-time job or someone in the family does cause you have to make money to be able to afford those attorneys.

I'm still holding out for some kind of miracle though.

IF there's any substance to what's being reported, someone is going to have to be the sacrificial lamb. 5 stars qb's > 4 star LB's. :hihi:

So you're gonna contact the LSU admins to throw your weight around?

Hey, while you're at it get Skip to put attendants in the TS bathrooms, get new video screens, stop the vulgar student section chants, get every game played at night and stop booze coming into the stadium.

You talk like a guy who can make things happen. Emphasis on talk.

Does anyone want to gander at what Coach Miles said to his wife when he hung up the phone after talking to Perrilloux(or his attorney) about this?

    Please keep it factual.

Man the conspiracy theorists need too "chill" and cut back on the cappuccino's. Some of this smells like the Mississippi river downtown at low tide. I,m beginning to think we have some "closet" Bama fans in our midsts and, Jeez are they ramping this thing up!!!

Oh, and by the way, "Elvis" is still alive, Aliens did crash in Roswell, and there was a second gunman...please people, give it a rest!!!
