Why not...Christ preached that the strong should help the weak. Conservatives believe that also, along with hard work and perseverance. We just disagree on how that help gets distributed.
No the Republicans have followed the rules (at least until Garland. The great majority of Republicans voted for Ginseng, Kagan and Sotomayor despite serious political differences and reservations. They held to the concert that the president has the right to select his people. The Democrats stopped doing that with Nixon. They are despicable
The whole things smells of politics to me from her having a lawyer help her draft the letter months ago to delivering it in July to holding on to it until now. This happened in high school, if it happened at all. If it did, you know she would have told a friend or someone at the time. This is a she said he said and it happened so long ago, its irrelevant now. Hear the woman out, but I don't think the matter should have any weight on today.
When I was a junior in high school, a renowned man whore whipped out his penis in the back of our world history class and asked what I thought of it. I told him he was disgusting and to put that red, wrinkly thing away. I told my mom, but she didn't tell my dad because she figured my dad would kill him. It didn't ruin my life... In college, a guy that was always a pest and asking me out (it was never going to happen) grabbed my ass in a bar. I punched the shit out of him, and he never touched me again. I hate women playing the victim card, especially 30 years later.
