I'm sure a book named "BIAS" will be a unbiased view on the subject.

OK, I'll make you a deal. I'll read Goldberg's book if you read Jimmy Carter's new book "Our Endangered Values".

It will tell you all you need to know about media politics from a guy with a little more experience in the business than you.

oj isnt a great example. rove hasnt even been indicted. i know lawyers like to say that government attorneys could indict a ham sandwich if they wanted, because grand juries basically do what they are told.

in fact i served a year on a grand jury in baton rouge while i was in college. and we indicted every single person they wanted us to.

in this example i didnt mean there was a bias in that sense. i meant that the media wants people to be doing bad things, regardless of their politics. so they will cast (all) public figures as worse than they are in order to make better stories. so i mean that they are biased in the sense that are convicting everyone involved, when we really do not know what happened.

Yeah great example of good politics. I'll learn everything I need to know from a guy who was the worst president of the 21st century.....right in front of LBJ and the "Great Society."

Is one chapter titled, "How I got Interest Rates over 20%"

Chapter 2: "How I got unemployment to record levels"

Chapter 3: "How I got gas shortages"

If Carter is your idea of a good president, I see now where you opinions come from.

Read "When Character was King" about a real president, Reagan. It'll tell you everything you need to know about how presidents and policies ought to be.

No, he isn't my idea of a good president. That is exactly my point. He is an expert on presidential mistakes and misjudgments. His perspective on the errors he sees the Bush administration making are valid observations that even you might find interesting.

I just may. He is an expert on presidential mistakes. If he could present it in a fashion like you described, I could probably get through it.

The most telling observation about the strength of Carter as President is how long it took Iran to release the hostages after Reagan took office. Can you say "About 2 minutes".
