The grand jury is still investigating the matter. Two of Karl Roves assistants were called to testify earlier this month. It will just simmer until the grand jury decides something. However, this is not a special independent prosecutor like the ones investigating Watergate or Monicagate. The prosecutor here was appointed by the administration and only has to get the grand jury to deliver and indictment or not. He doesn't have to issue a report. If they indict someone, it will go to trial. If they fail to indict, we may never know the details of the investigation. Unless it leaks, of course!
