Again, this argument is not reality. What immigrants HAVE done is displace the retired pensioner who was looking to pad their SS income, the teenager looking to make date money, the college student needing to pay for books, the part-time mom who was hoping to help the family income a little. Immigrants still clean toilets and mow the lawn but they also cashier at Target and stock shelves at Walmart and look dumb as shit when you ask them a question in English. And of course your immigrant co-workers were putting their money toward health insurance, right? Toward paying all their taxes, right? Toward the additional costs for the public schools their kids attend, right? Please. They send the money back to Mexico, etc and Americans pick up their slack. I see it every gotdamn day.
