American's always hated immigrants for stealing jobs. Do you think born-here Americans work harder than immigrants? My experience says different,.. a lot of Hispanic people worked with me in a plywood factory, most of them wanted all of the overtime they could get,.. much more than lazy me.
Drug dealers and hookers work hard too. Doesn't make it any more legal. If you had a daughter working the corner hard, would you feel better that she gave it her best effort?
Uhhh, built by immigrants who entered the country legally, became citizens, and conformed to the American way of life. They may have spoken their native language at home and with other immigrants from their homeland, but they also learned our language and saw that their children learned it as well. 21st century immigration bears absolutely no resemblence to the "melting pot" days of the late 19th/early 20th centuries.
so you think immigrants are less honest,.. the biggest cause of crime is poverty,.. I think most wealthy immigrants are normally/average honest.
In 1903, women in America weren't allowed to vote. Today, Syria ranks 125th out of 152 in the Gender Inequality Index....200 honor killings every year. So yes, let's bring in a bunch of people who don't understand the first thing about civil or human rights. And let's have the American taxpayer foot the bill. Fuck that.
I think you're generalizing, individuals were good and bad, and every shade between, just as they are now. ... and that's the gist of the problem with Trump's policy,.. it's a massive judgement against a group, with no respect for the individual.
