stop creaming all over the guy. his running is nothing special and he is not the same guy he was in 03. being one-half step slower makes a HUGE difference.

im proud of him, though. no fumbles. and he looked very good catching out of the backfield.

I would like to see Justin and Addai on the field in a split backfield.

I like the fact he took care of the ball.

On the wide runs he needs to turn on the jets and get outside.

He will see alot of carries next year with him and Alley back .

    Good on special teams too.

Glad he kept a good attitude too. Some players get full of themselves when they have early success.

That play where he spinned off of the mighty D. Ryans for a 1st down was tough. The run after the swing pass was vintage too. He might not be as dominating as he was two years ago, but he did his part today.

LOTS OF LUV for Justin Vincent, Great game guy!

I feel bad for Addai. You know that he wanted to make a statement in this game, but could not really contribute because of the ankle.

I have to disagree with this post. That step he lost because of the extra weight keeps him from making those great cutback runs that he made in '03. There were several instances where he could have cut back and picked up yards but instead got caught up on the inside.

And there were several tackles he broke in 05 that he wouldn't have broken in 03. He'll need that for the NFL. He's averaging better than Joe per carry, it's not like he's a below par back as is.

I can recall one play where he ran on the outside where I thought his speed looked as fast I've ever seen it. Whether he's lost a step or not, Justin Vincent has a heart of a Tiger and left it all on the field last night. You know it was killing Joe Addai not to be 100%. That's why my hats go off to JV for stepping up like he did. Go Tigers !

Name the teams in the SEC that either Vincent or Carey would be startting. On most of the good teams they would be third team at best.

Talking about attitude, I know JV has always kept a good one and worked hard. However, does anyone know about Carey's? There's something that he said during a press interview after the North Texas game that made me wonder. He's fast and shifty; but I was quite surprised that he was not used yesterday. Does anyone know about doghouse issues???????????
