EXACTLY!!!!! My problem with JV his year is not that 'he isn't running hard', it's the fact that he can't hold the freakin ball. It seems like he has had a fumble in every game that he had a carry.

    Likewise, my friend.

Nice job in inflating those numbers to make a point.

AB is averaging 5 and JA is averaging 7, that's not much more than JV. JV is also seeing much less PT. So you have yet to make a valid argument.

One more point. When you have a bruising back like AB, of course he is gonna average a few more yards per carry when holes aren't being opened up. A bruising back has the ablility to pound through defenders picking up a couple of extra yards per carry. JV is too much of a finesse runner and is too small to pound through lines that don't open up. That explains why AB is averaging 7 yards per carry and JV is averaging 4.

all you have to do is look at last game versus a terrible run defense.

    broussard-8.9 ypc

    addai-5.5 ypc

    shyrone-5.33 ypc

    randall--8.5 ypc

    justin--2.33

3 ypc is average, 4+ is very good. 5 ypc compared to 3 overall (for the year) is night and day.
