Unless someone really stands out, I think Randall starts with one of the young guys playing 2-3 series per game, like UGA used to do, unless Randall completely goes in the tank in the first couple of games. Then he quickly becomes #3.
I put this in a previous post somewhere. I think the starting job will be won in the spring, IF Mauck doesn't return. A few games of PT against SEC competition puts Randall ahead on experience. But as far as talent and grasping the offense, I think both RSFR will have a good handle on it by Spring, and it will be a tough battle. Remeber that Randall was an afterthought who was signed once Saban took the reigns from Dinardo and realized he didn't have a QB signed. I personally think one of the RSFR will separate in the Spring and become the #1. All this under the presumption that Mauck goes to dental school.
Maybe for the first week of spring practice. Nick didn't go hard after a Parade All American quarterback to sit him on the bench. Such players are expected to claim a starting job early.
"Maybe for the first week of spring practice. Nick didn't go hard after a Parade All American quarterback to sit him on the bench. Such players are expected to claim a starting job early." we know how that can turn out. I'd go with Randall next season to start with which every Frosh stands out the most or both getting lots of reps also. Then just let the best performer take over. What is this crap? Middle of the season and we're talking about next season:dis:  :dis:
